You can make an impact by going on a mission trip. Each year, Valley Baptist sends teams on short-term mission trips to share Jesus with the world.

You can make an impact through your faithful generosity. Your giving makes it possible to send people around the world to share the gospel with the lost.

Missionary House

A beautiful home for our full-time missionaries to live in while they are home on furlough.

This home was paid for and fully furnished by the generous members of Valley Baptist Church. It is a great example of God’s provision for the missionaries who have sacrificed so much to take the gospel to the nations. When they are home, they stay in the house free of charge with access to a van to use during their stay. Karen Watson

Each year throughout the month of March, we place a special emphasis on missions and we chose that month for an important reason. More than 20 years ago, a woman named Karen Watson was sent out from Valley Baptist Church to be a missionary in Iraq. Sadly, she was martyred for her faith on March 15, 2004, when the vehicle she was riding in was attacked by armed militants. An enduring part of her legacy has been the powerful letter she wrote that was only to be opened in the event of her death. Click the button below to read her handwritten letter in its entirety
